Welcome!
Welcome to LAW 200 -- Constitutional Law. While teaching this course, I've found that I often receive interesting emails, questions, links, and comments from students between classes. Rather than forwarding everything along piecemeal, I've created a blog that everyone can post to and check regularly. Feel free to post comments, questions, links to news stories, or whatever else you find interesting between our Thursday meetings. I hope this forum will allow us to continue our discussions between classes.
To add additional content to this blog, simply comment in response to this post.
Best,
Cody Harris

Interesting article in NYTimes today...3/04/13. Pg A22 National edition. Posner, Tribe, McConnell and others cited regarding possible options for President Obama to consider in his efforts to resolve the debt ceiling issue. Questions of constitutionality are addressed...authority to borrow money, presidential emergency powers, 14th amendment ("validity of the public debt"), among others. Last evening's class discussion was very helpful when reading and trying to digest this analysis!
